    although the heart weighs heavy upon the news of Niko’s passing, it comforting to know that he got to hear his favorite music be interpreted by those who loved him and supported him, aptly titled The Honey Sessions, which he received last week.
    i chose to cover John Lennon’s     Jealous Guy, and I hoped he liked my version of it. 
    He was a true heart(er), right to the end. It made me happy to see him recommending some of my RECords in the days leading up his last slumber upon this fragile Earth. I hope my music made him smile, as I’m sure all our RECords he hearted did. All 2,309 of them.
    The last message I got from him was on the 22nd, asking for my address so he and Monica could “send a little bit of love” my way. I send you all my love in return every day, to both of you.  

    Rest peacefully, Niko. And I’ll see you at the beach <3
